Dumb Friends League Intranet

Description

  • 2018

The Dumb Friends League Intranet is a site for the organization's 200 employees and 1,400 volunteers to get information, socialize and recognize others for a job well done. The site was a redesign from the previous Intranet with the goal of engaging the users more. The site uses WordPress's blogging features to create a more social environment for the user--they can post stories and comment on each other's posts. It also has a customized reward system in which users are given badges when someone sends them a thank you message which then display on their user page. The user pages are also a new feature. They display information about the user, such as what department they work in and their contact information. It also shows the thank you's they've received and any award icons they earned.
